Clinical Experiences in School Leadership Internship

Students in the School Leadership concentration must complete the Clinical Experiences in School Leadership courses, which are designed to fulfill the internship requirements for those seeking Pennsylvania’s Principal Certification or the Certification for Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction. Completed over one year, this internship serves as a bridge between university coursework and the world of professional practice in the school community. Students engage in administrative work under the direction of an on-site mentor (an administrator or supervisor) in a school district either where the student is employed or in another district.
