Internships & Opportunities

State-of-the-art clinical training in agency and school counseling is provided through school and agency partners. Students complete 24 semester hours of clinical training.


Graduates with an MEd in Counseling Psychology typically work as agency or school counselors in a variety of clinical settings which include, but are not limited to, community mental health agencies, hospitals, K-12 schools, nonprofit organizations, universities, and private practice. They also may use the degree to pursue doctoral training in a related discipline.
