Scholarships & Financial Aid

The following resources are available to help fund your engineering graduate degree.

Internal Funding: Graduate Scholarships

Merit-based Scholarships

The College of Engineering awards a number of merit-based scholarships to our most competitive master’s degree applicants. Students are automatically considered for such awards when they are reviewed for admission and will be notified when they are admitted if they’ve received funding.

Federal Financial Aid

Applying for Federal Stafford Loans requires completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). At Temple University, unsubsidized Stafford Loans up to a maximum amount of $20,500 annually are available to full-time graduate students.

Eligibility for the Federal Work-Study Program is based on applicant need as determined by the information on the applicant’s FAFSA. Students must also be enrolled at least half time and maintain satisfactory academic progress.
