The Athletic Training program has relationships with a number of regional organizations in different settings, including clinics, hospitals and schools, where students can perform fieldwork.


Graduates find positions as athletic trainers in a multitude of settings, including

  • college sports programs;
  • dance academies;
  • high schools;
  • hospitals;
  • the military;
  • professional sports; 
  • movies, performing arts and TV; and
  • sports medicine clinics.

Large corporations also hire athletic trainers to treat on-the-job injuries and run employee injury prevention programs.
