Employment Opportunities for Graduate Students

NOTE: Because of the TUGSA contract, all graduate students who tutor in the Writing Center are Teaching Assistants; we cannot offer hourly positions.

Writing Center TAs work as tutors in various Writing Center services, including face-to-face tutoring, e-mail tutoring, and Writing Fellows tutoring; for a full description of our services, as well as answers to frequently-asked questions, please click here.

PLEASE NOTE: We conduct our main round of TA hiring in February / March to allow us to develop a staffing plan for the following academic year. However, additional positions occasionally become available between April and August.

• Application Deadline for College of Education Graduate Students ONLY: March 31, 2010

Applications received by the February deadline will receive full consideration; applicants can expect to hear from us within four weeks of the application deadline. Applications received after the February deadline will be asked to resubmit for the following academic year.
