Need your TUId! The Independence Blue Cross (IBC) Student Recreation Center provides students, employees and alumni of the university a variety of recreational activities.

Need your TUId! The Student Pavilion is 32,000 square feet of space divided by three mechanical curtains that can section off four indoor multi-purpose court areas or be raised to allow for full-area events such as: basketball, volleyball, badminton, and a golf driving range.

Parents' Tent, Founders Garden
Parents need a break from move-in? Join us under the tent. Parents are invited to visit the Parents' Tent for FREE food, relaxation and an opportunity to meet other parents and members of the University's administration and faculty. Mix and mingle with athletic coaches, faculty members, and student services staff. Get a FREE massage and listen to music. This relaxing space is designed specifically for parents.

Disability Resources and Services (DRS) is hosting an open house for parents and students. We look forward to providing general information on services available to students with a disability at Temple University. DRS staff will be available to answer questions-no appointment necessary, just stop in. Light refreshments will be served.

TempleFest, Liacouras Walk and Berks Mall (Rain Location: Student Center, Atrium)
After you have moved in, join us for this outdoor festival. It's a perfect mix of business and fun - gets all the information you need about student organizations, area vendors, and campus departments such as Student Financial Services, Diamond Dollars, Parking, Meal Plans, PNC Bank, and the bookstore. Enjoy music, food, giveaways, and games while you get your first taste of Temple!

Separation and the Empty Nest, 1810 Conference Suite (Liacouras Walk)
Meet with the Counseling Center Director to discuss the tranisitionfor parents and families when you student starts to attend college. This presentation will also include a discussion during which you can ask questions and add information based on your experiences.

Compete in foul shooting against Temple Men’s Basketball Coaches and Players. Prizes for all.

Management Information Systems Departmental Open House
Speakman Hall, Student Lounge
New students and their families to explore the benefits of majoring / minoring in Management Information Systems. Faculty, administration, and current students will be attending. Please try and join us for this information session and to grab a bite to eat.

Students with wrist bands are welcome to join us at Anderson Hall Mezzanine for a back-to-school barbeque dinner. Students must wear their wristbands for admission. Parents are welcome to purchase tickets at the door.

Floor Meetings, Residence Halls
Students moving in today are required to attend floor meetings in the residence halls. Don't miss your first floor meeting with your resident advisor and floormates.
8pm-12am
Choose Your Own Adventure, Student Center
Head over to the Howard Gittis Student Center for a night of fun! Each room of the center will host an exciting activity to enjoy with your fellow Owls. There will be food, giveaways, and opportunities to meet new people.
