Diamond Peer Teachers ProgramDeadline for Applications for Spring 2009: October 10, 2008 The Diamond Peer Teachers Program provides upper-level undergraduates at Temple the opportunity to experience the challenges and rewards of college-level teaching, to work with faculty mentors to develop their own pedagogical skills, and to provide supplemental instruction in lower-level courses. To be selected as a Diamond Peer Teacher, a student will:
Peer Teachers can apply to work in any first- or second-year course in their major; students in the following disciplines/areas are especially encouraged to apply: Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, CIS, Economics, Finance, Intellectual Heritage, Mathematics, MIS, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, and Statistics. Participants are required to attend the three-day Diamond Peer Teacher Institute. Teaching Institute for Fall 2008 - August 25-27, 2008.
