Academic Progress Reports. Undergraduate instructors and mid-semester reports.

Instructors in all lower division courses in spring 2008 will be rating students' academic progress (satisfactory, unsatisfactory or never attended) using reports available in the fifth week of term. Lower division courses are defined for this purpose as any undergraduate course numbered 0700 to 1999.

Instructors will receive ratings forms during the week of 2/18/2008 and should complete ratings no later than the week of 2/25/2008; the forms must be returned to departmental offices no later than 3/3/2008, or to the Office of Academic Records no later than 3/7/ 2008. Students may withdraw from classes (W) up until Monday, March, 31, 2008.

Undergraduate Instructors and the Syllabus Policy

In the first week of the term, instructors are required to supply students a detailed syllabus explaining course rules and expectations. The required items for your course syllabi are enumerated on the policy website and include eleven categories of information. A copy should be given to your departmental office.
