Scholar Development and Fellowships Advising (SDFA) offers assistance to Temple students in all stages of the application process for competitive, merit-based national fellowships.
We provide information on available programs, advice, opportunities for strategic planning and reflection, and guidance for completing a competitive application.
Through outreach to the campus community, support of students, and collaboration with faculty and administration, Fellowships Advising seeks to develop a campus culture that encourages motivated students to pursue these enriching educational opportunities.
Note: The majority of these opportunities are external awards that fund supplemental undergraduate experiences (summer research, institutes, specialized study abroad) or graduate studies/research. They are typically not intended to cover Temple tuition and fees. For Temple-sponsored awards administered by SDFA, including the Supplemental Academic Scholarships, click here. For other Temple-sponsored awards, see your college's website or click here for links to those sites. Incoming freshmen or transfer students who wish to have more information on their financial packages should speak to Admissions.
One-on-One Appointments: Before scheduling your first one-on-one appointment, please attend a Fellowships 101 session (see times listed at right), or stop in during Walk-In Hours. To make an appointment to see a Fellowships Advising staff person about a specific scholarship opportunity, or for feedback on application drafts, click here. You must be logged into a Gmail account to access this calendar. Please ensure your calendar is set to Eastern Standard Time (EST) in Settings.
