Office of the Provost: Temple University

Advising

Transfer

The Offices of the Provost and the Senior Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies are responsible for the University's relations with community colleges and for oversight of curricular policies related to student transfer into Temple. The Senior Vice Provost's Office assists in the evaluation and re-evaluation of transfer courses for Core Curriculum credit at Temple, and interprets University transfer policies for students, faculty members, and academic advisors. The Core and Transfer Web site includes news and information for transfer students. Information about the versions of the Core designed for transfer students (the 45+ Transfer Core and Core-to-Core Transfer) is available in the Core section of the current Temple Undergraduate Bulletin. The Academic Policies section of the Bulletin describes a number of policies that affect transfer students. A list of Temple's transfer articulation agreements with specific community colleges is also available.

TRANSITIONS, a transfer student newsletter, offers an overview of policies and procedures, programs and opportunities that are available to Temple Students. If you are interested in Study Abroad, Honors, Research Opportunities, or have questions about academic policies, you will find general information and links to other resources in TRANSITIONS - for a pdf version, click here.
