Temple to Offer Courses in Vietnamese

Fall 2005

Starting in Fall 2005, the Critical Languages Department, in cooperation with the Center for Vietnamese Philosophy, Culture, and Society, will offer courses in the Vietnamese language.

Courses will be offered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

One course will be offered for students with no background in the language. This course will meet 2:40-3:30.

A second course will be offered for "heritage learners" with some previous background. This course will meet 3:40-4:30.

A series of lectures and artistic and cultural events is being planned to supplement the language instruction in these courses.

You may register for these courses once fall semester registration begins. Students will need to contact the Critical Languages Department to determine which section would be most appropriate. If you are interested in enrolling in one of our Vietnamese language courses, please contact the Critical Languages secretary, Ms. Karen Woods-Wilson at kwoods00@temple.edu.
