Registration for Spring 2009
Be prepared! All new University Studies students (admitted Fall 2008) are required to see an advisor prior to registering for spring classes. Freshmen are asked to sign up for a Group Advising session. Sign-up for Group Sessions begins October 6th in 1810 Liacouras Walk, Suite 101. Transfer students are required to have a meeting (appointment or walk-in) with an academic advisor before registering, which should be accomplished prior to your eligible registration date. Appointments can be made by stopping in to our office or calling 215-204-2500.

Your registration date is based on your total number of completed credits (including Transfer and Advanced Placement credits, but not credits for which you are currently registered). Please refer to the chart below for your registration date:

Spring 2009 Registration
October 20 115 semester hours completed
October 21 99 semester hours completed
October 22 89 semester hours completed
October 23 75 semester hours completed
October 24 63 semester hours completed
October 27 53 semester hours completed
October 28 35 semester hours completed
October 29 28 semester hours completed
October 30 1 semester hour completed
October 31 0 semester hours completed

Please be aware that your first day of registration can be very busy--be patient! Remember that OWLnet will only show open sections of classes along with the number of seats left. Try to develop a schedule with classes that have multiple openings, not just 1-2 available seats. By getting advised prior to your eligibility date, you will have time to plan your schedule and be ready to register on your first day!

For detailed information about Spring 2009 registration, visit the Academic Records website.
