You are an international student if you have a non-immigrant visa, including a student visa, visitor visa, or exchange visa. You are required to complete a Financial Support Statement as part of the international student application. The best way to apply is online, but you can also download a PDF of the application here.

TOEFL requirements for undergraduate applicants:

Paper-based test: 550 minimum
Computer-based test: 213 minimum
Internet-based test: 79 minimum

IELTS requirement for undergraduate applicants: 6.0 minimum

An applicant not born in the U.S. but who is a permanent resident, naturalized citizen, or refugee, may use the regular application.
