Weekend Workshop
On Saturday and Sunday
mornings during the fall and spring
semesters, introductory level and advanced
classes are offered in a wide range of
studio areas for high school students and
adults. These programs expand your art
experience by providing an opportunity to
work in facilities unique to the Tyler
campus and to work with others who share a
serious interest in art. If you are
preparing for admission to a professional
art school, Tyler’s Weekend Workshop also
offers a singular opportunity to enhance
your application portfolio. A certificate of
course completion is awarded to each student
at the end of each session.
Courses are offered in
the following areas: Architecture,
Animation, Ceramics, Digital Illustration
and Design, Drawing, Figure Drawing and
Painting, Jewelry, Painting, Black and White
Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture.
