Although admission
into the Architecture program does not
currently require a portfolio, the faculty
strongly recommend one if you feel it will
give the Program a better indication of your
creative abilities. Original work should not
be included - submit a slide or CD-ROM
portfolio. The portfolio should clearly list
the student's name, address, phone number,
and, if transferring, previous schools
attended.
Include the assignment description/explanation
and any relevant descriptive material. Your
portfolio can include drawing, painting,
photography, sculpture, computer modeling,
drafting – anything you feel conveys your
creativity and design skills. The portfolio
will not be reviewed unless a completed
application to Temple University is submitted.
Portfolios for should be mailed to :
Tyler School of Art, Temple University
Admissions Office
TU-ZIP 067-00
2001 N. 13th Street
Philadelphia, PA 19122
It is the student's responsibility to arrange
for the return of the portfolio materials.
Students should include a sturdy,
self-addressed stamped envelope or arrange to
pick up the materials in person. Call the
Admissions Office at 215-777-9090 with any
further questions. Portfolios which arrive
without a return postage will be discarded
after the review.
