Authorship of large-scale projects is central
to the MFA program. Students in the master's
program create the content of their work
in seminar and thesis courses. The execution
of work in the MFA program is expected to
meet the exacting visual and technical demands
of the profession. MFA students work and
meet for classes in a dedicated studio that
is equipped for both traditional and new
media. The computer facilities within the
MFA studio are easily accessed from the individual
work spaces provided for each student.
Graduates from the MFA program in Graphic and Interactive Design
possess the skills and knowledge to work as full-time practicing
designers and to teach graphic and interactive design at the
college level.
