Temple University offers a wide variety
of student life activities, programs, and
events. Students are welcome and encouraged
to participate in the annual Homecoming Festivities,
Spring Fling, and seasonal sporting events,
as well as diverse weekly entertainment hosted
by various student groups and organizations.
The newly renovated Student Assistance Center
houses the Office of Student Life, University
Housing and the Dean of Students. It also
hosts a myriad of vendors along with a spacious
multiplex food court. The university runs
Inter-Campus Bus transportation, which provides
easy access to campus facilities and student
communities.
The Office of Student Services and Activities located on the
Tyler Campus in conjunction with Art, Art History and Architecture
schedules diverse extracurricular activities, events and programs
tailored to the arts community offering you the opportunity for
interaction with faculty and students both on and off campus.
Trips to New York's Metropolitan Museum and Washington's National
Gallery are scheduled regularly throughout the school year, as
well as visits to local galleries and studios. Other student
activities include film festivals; Tyler's Theater Group, and
