Tyler Digital Services
Let your creativity run wild in Tylers state of the art all school fabrication and printing studios. From your very first day as a Tyler student, you have immediate access to some of the coolest digital technology available.
Visit the Media Output Center in room 202, where you can do archival quality printing up to 64 inches wide. Students are able to print on a variety of materials such as: matte, luster, gloss, watercolor, canvas, silk, acetate and cotton. Be amazed at the largest cutting surface on campus and enjoy the use of our large format scanner and self service print stations.
If you think that the Media Output Center sounds cool, wait until you see our Digital Fabrication Studio in room B20. Students can feel free to make use of several 3D printers, 3D scanning, vinyl cutting, laser cutting and a ten needle embroidery machine. Students are also able to borrow equipment from the DFS for projects and exhibitions such as: Projectors, DSLR Cameras, Video Cameras, Speakers, DVD Players, Pedestals, Drawing Tablets, and a googols worth of wires, adapters, and extension cords.
Looking for a nice quiet space to do some work? Visit our Visual Resource Center in room B10 where we have trained consultants who can help you use our scanners and self service printers. We also have a large format 42 inch poster scanner for scanning in large drawings.
All of these areas are open during the Fall and Spring semesters from 9 am to 5 pm.
