I am a sculptural artist whose work is an amalgam of glass, secondary mediums, and manipulated found objects. Often combining hundreds of parts into one piece, I use unconventional techniques to compose complex visual arrangements. My unique approach generates glass sculpture directed by connections, globalization, and perceptual shift. Focusing on connectivity to each other, I am able to analyze social networks and examine collective trends of the 21stcentury. My visual arrangements are schematic, inviting the viewer to move into a mapped space of symbolic and abstract content. Collectively my work explores instances where change and innovation meet global influences to impact handmade tradition.
