Aritst Statement
Without narrative, but with a physical mis-en-scene, my work distills cinema into vignettes, allowing for friction between the real and imaginary. Utilizing suspension of disbelief and the cinematic apparatus-- I look for the open spaces, where the poetic and cardinal will reverberate. This work is celebratory, but the opportunity andresponsibility here are with our eyes.
