Aritst Statement

Human experience most informs identity and therefore existence.  Though many experiences are particular to any individual, these specific experiences can also be universal.   Universality affects the individual, but also calls on the collective experiences of humankind.

My subject matter consists of but is not limited to landscape, color, pattern reflection and light. It is critical for me that I find the subject I photograph as it could similarly be experienced by anyone else.  As my individual experience of the subject captivates me, I look to capture something universal in the experience of the image.  My immersion in the experience of my subject matter is pure joy.
