Two bodies of work that explore time via decay and metal oxidation (including experimental printmaking, drawing, sculpture and painting), the artist José Antonio Ortiz Pagán contrasts conceptual differences of natural and imposed time systems, including the social implications of these phenomena. Such objects then become time mechanisms recompiling to address a temporal period of different systems. Free will, imposition, migration, existence, responsibility, timelines and space dilemmas are gathered in this exhibition; focus is on the research of what can be The Dissection through a Fragment in time and space.
