My
 work
 pulls
 information
 from
 a 
broad
 spectrum 
of 
sources. 

The 
outcome
 is 
never 
concrete 
before 
beginning 
a 
given 
work, 
as 
I 
let 
forms 
develop 
through out
 the 
process 
of 
painting. 

I 
constantly 
have 
to 
rediscover 
and 
reinterpret 
the 
imagery
 that 
we 
all 
encounter 
on 
a 
daily 
basis, 
which 
lies 
in 
the 
past, 
present 
and 
the
 wonders 
of 
the 
future. 

What 
remains 
constant 
in 
the 
creative 
process 
for
 me 
is 
the 
desire 
to 
respond 
directly 
to 
marks 
made 
and 
to 
not 
have 
a 
pre‐determined 
idea 
or
 outcome 
of 
what 
the 
possibilities 
are 
within 
each 
work. 

If 
I 
have 
made 
a 
successful
 piece 
it 
is 
not 
only 
thought 
provoking 
on 
the 
immediate 
encounter, 
but 
it 
also 
leaves
 the 
viewer 
with 
questions 
for 
each 
individual 
experience 
to 
contemplate
 thereafter.
