![]() Artist Statement I constantly ask myself questions about life. There is one most important question I ask myself over and over again: What makes my artwork timeless? The momentum of making many works, critiquing them, then responding to them, is an important part of my creative process. Comparing my work to the artworks throughout history, which truly move me, is a powerful creative tool. Direct observation through line and gesture, along with imagined and directly stolen material are my key tools. These tools combined with my intense love/hate relationship with art history firmly sum up what I’m currently doing with my life as an artist.
