The course offerings range from Figure Drawing
to Senior Painting Studio, a capstone course
for painting majors. In between, there is
a variety of advanced course work incorporating
contemporary viewpoints. The painting and
drawing faculty advises participation in
varied studio experience that facilitates
the integration of technique and personal
vision.
Visiting professional artists, critics, and authors are regularly
scheduled to present their work, to lead discussions, and to
critique student work. Frequent visits to major collections throughout
the Northeast, including the museums and galleries of New York
City, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia, are incorporated in the
semester curriculum complementing the studio work.
