
Graduate Application Requirements
All applicants to Temple University Graduate programs must have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and have completed a baccalaureate degree from a college or university whose accreditation is accepted by the University prior to enrollment. Applicants to the Art History and Architecture programs must submit official GRE scores; applicants to the MED program must submit official MAT or GRE scores. Applicants to the MFA and MED programs must have completed 40 undergraduate studio credits, and must submit a slide portfolio of original work.
Graduate Applicants to MArch, MFA, MED, and MA/PhD progams are required to send the following materials to:

For receipt of all application materials for the MArch in Architecture, MFA in Ceramics, Fibers,Glass, Graphic & Interactive Design, Painting/Drawing, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture.
For receipt of all graduate application materials for those who wish to be considered for University-wide Fellowships.
March 1
For receipt of all application materials for the MFA in Metals/Jewelry/CAD-CAM.
For receipt of all application materials for the MEd in Art Education program.

There is generally no Spring admission into the MFA or MArch program. Please note that there are some departments that may grant an exception some circumstances. Please contact the individual programs for permission to apply for the Spring semester.
