ONLINE COURSES

PENNSYLVANIA LICENSEES

To renew a current license, you MUST complete at least 14 hours of continuing education by May 31, and WE STILL HAVE ONLINE COURSES AVAILABLE - please see the link above or below.

If you do not complete your continuing education by May 31 your license will be considered "Expired" and you should follow the State Real Estate Commission's instructions for "Reactivation of an Inactive License" found on their website. Reactivation applications can also be found on the Commission's website by following the link to "Commission Applications".

NEW JERSEY LICENSEES

New Jersey requires at least 12 total hours of continuing education, but they have specific topic areas.
* 6 hours of elective topics
* 6 hours of core topics (with at least 2 hours covering ethics), including: "AGENCY, DISCLOSURE, REAL ESTATE LICENSEE STATUTES/RULES, FAIR HOUSING/NJ LAW AGAINST DISCRIMINATION, LEGAL REQUIREMENTS ON ESCROW MONIES & FINANCIAL RECORDKEEPING, NJ & FEDERAL ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS/RULES PERTINENT TO THE PRACTICE OF REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE, LEGAL ISSUES (for example: Listing Agreements, Sales Contracts, Leases, Attorney Review, Forms of Ownership and Deed Restrictions)"


At present, Temple has a 6-hour online course titled Know the Code that is approved by New Jersey for 2 hours of ethics and 4 hours of core.

One extra thing to keep in mind: We received word from the New Jersey Real Estate Commission that, although courses may be completed up until the June 30, 2013, expiration date of your license, any coursework completed after April 30, 2013, will subject you to a $200.00 late fee.

ONLINE COURSES
