Temple University Center City in partnership with Kaplan Financial, the leading provider of financial planning and education materials, offers the Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP) program. This program meets the challenges faced by today’s financial planning professionals in the brokerage, insurance, accounting, banking and related fields.
This accelerated certificate program is designed around the demanding schedules of working professionals. It benefits both experienced professionals seeking to advance their careers and those entering the field. The program fulfills the educational component, one of the four requirements of the CFP certification, established by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

The next session of the Certified Financial Planning certificate program will begin in September 2013. Classes meet every other weekend starting Friday night, September 27, 2013 through Saturday, May 31, 2014. This is a cohort program which requires completion of all courses to earn the certificate. The six required courses are:
