Throughout the semester, TLC hosts single workshops and series, book groups, light reading groups and other types of events aimed at promoting excellent teaching at Temple.

Some of our regular workshop topics include:

• How to design a great course
• Grading fairly and efficiently
• Motivating students
• Making classes active and engaging
• Teaching about race and diversity

Where to go

Most seminars meet in the Faculty Wing of the TECH Center (12 & Montgomery St, Main Campus). Once you are there, follow the TLC Event signs to the appropriate room.

TLC also offers to bring six of our most popular workshops to your department, school, or college. We are happy to collaborate with you either to tailor these workshops for your faculty members or graduate students, or to develop other workshops and programs targeted to your needs.
