Transformative Teaching:
Developing Students as Scholars and Citizens

How can we construct learning experiences that help our students develop, as scholars and as citizens? How can we guide them to see the world and themselves anew, through the lenses of new knowledge and our varying disciplines? How can we broaden students’ knowledge and experience in the context of this uniquely diverse university?

On Wednesday, January 16th, join us for Dr. Sylvia Hurtado’s keynote presentation on “Diversity, Learning & Citizenship: Making the Connections” and then faculty facilitated breakout sessions on different aspects of transformative teaching.

On Thursday, January 17th, join Dr. Dee Fink and your colleagues for a hands-on workshop, “Designing Your Courses for More Significant Learning.”

Register now!
