My Choice, My Direction: Self-Directed Supports

Self-directed supports are types of services you can use to help you live a more self-determined life. In this training, you will learn about:

  • Person-Centered Planning
  • Natural Supports
  • Circle of Support
  • Microboards
  • Intermediary Service Organization (ISO)
  • Individual Budgets
  • Support Brokers

You will learn how these tools help you live the life you want.


About Partnership Trainings

Each FREE training module is two hours in length. Resource materials are provided to each family free of charge, and all participants receive handouts and a certificate of completion for each presentation. We offer Act 48 credits and some reimbursement, such as mileage and child care to families upon request. All Partnership curricula are available in alternate formats upon request. Request for alternate formats should be made two weeks before the scheduled training.
