Adult Protective Services

Act 70 of 2010 is the Pennsylvania law that provides protective services for adults with disabilities ages 18-59.

The law provides:

  • the protection of abused, neglected, exploited or abandoned adults
  • establishes a uniform Statewide reporting and investigative system for suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation or abandonment of adults
  • prescribes penalties for failure to follow the law
