- 15: Marc Bekoff, author of Animals at Play was interviewed for the PBS series Nature. The program entitled, "Why We Love Cats and Dogs" is scheduled to premiere nationally on Sunday, February 15 at 8 pm EST. In his interview, Bekoff explains our attraction to animals via the concept of "mirror neurons." His theory suggests shared emotions and empathy biologically connect humans to their dogs and cats.
