  • 1: From 3:30 - 5:00PM, Maria Helena Alves and Phil Evanson, authors of Living in the Crossfire, will do a joint presentation at Temple University, Anderson Hall room 821.

  • 5: Alex Lubet, authors of Music, Disability, and Society, will be speaking at Fordham University's Law School for their conference conference on "Bob Dylan and the Law".

  • 5: From 10:30am - 12:00pm, Maria Helena Alves, co-author of Living in the Crossfire, will be speaking at the Washington Office on Latin America, 1666 Connecticut Ave NW, Suite 400.

  • 8: From 3:00-5:00 PM, Bernard E. Rollin, author of Putting the Horse before Descartes, will be reading from his book at the Morgan Library Courtyard, Colorado State University.

  • 10: At 6:30pm, Murray Dubin and Dan Biddle, authors of Tasting Freedom, will be speaking at St. Luke Church, 568 Montgomery Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA.

  • 11: George Lipsitz, author of How Racism Takes Place, will be speaking at the Center for the Study of Race, Culture and Ethnicity Lecture, Ithaca College, NY.

  • 14: Phil Evanson, co-author of Living in the Crossfire, will be at the Union League of Philadelphia for "Brazil on the Move in the 21st Century".

  • 16: Andrew Zimbalist, author of Circling the Bases, will be speaking at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) Sports Business Conference.

  • 21: At 5:30pm, Murray Dubin and Dan Biddle, authors of Tasting Freedom, will be speaking at Temple University's Paley Library Lecture Hall, 1210 Polett Walk, Philadelphia, PA 19122.

  • 22: At 8:00PM, Jimmy Heath, co-author of I Walked with Giants, will be appearing at Kenyon College for their Gund Concert Series: Heath Brothers Quartet.

  • 25: George Lipsitz, author of How Racism Takes Place, will be speaking at the Scholar Activism Conference in Irvine, CA.

  • 30: At 3:30pm, Murray Dubin and Dan Biddle, authors of Tasting Freedom, will be speaking at Duane Morris’ Diversity Retreat.
