- 24: Tommie Smith, co-author of Silent Gesture will be speaking at Center for Africana Studies, Univ of Pennsylvania’s Race and Sports Lecture commemorating the 40th anniversary of the 1968 Summer Olympics Protest, along with John Carlos and Harry Edwards, as part of the Wharton Sports Business Initiative on Thursday, 4/24 at 5:30 pm in the Auditorium (G06), Jon M Huntsman Hall, 38th and Walnut Sts.
