Temple joins Blood Drive
Temple University is parrticipating in the national blood drive.
At the request of the American Red Cross, staggered dates have been
chosen. On September 14, a blood drive will take place on the Health
Science Campus in the lobby of the Children's Medical Center from
9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Main Campus is hosting a series of blood drives as follows:
September 18:
Johnson Hall lounge, 2-7:30 p.m.
James W. White Hall first floor lounge, 2-7:30 p.m.
September 21:
Temple Towers lobby, 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
September 24:
1300 Residence Hall, 2-7:30 p.m.
September 25:
Mitten Hall Great Court, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
September 26:
1940 Residence Hall televsion room, 2-7:30 p.m.
TIF tackles terrorism
The Temple Issues Forum
will hold a daylong forum today for the Temple community to come
together and talk about The Terrorist Attacks . . . and Beyond.
The forum will be held in Kiva Auditorium, Ritter Hall Annex, starting
at 8:30 a.m.
A series of panel discussions is planned, although topics and panelists
names were not available at press time.
Volunteers needed
Temples Center for Public Health is looking for volunteers
with hepatitis to fill out a survey. The survey will be used to
develop or improve programs for hepatitis prevention and diagnosis.

Temple football game
called off
Saturdays football game against the University of Connecticut
was cancelled in response to the terrorist attacks in New York earlier
this week. No decisions have been made about rescheduling the game.
