Pa. Sen. Specter visits criminal justice class
Pennsylvania senior Sen. Arlen Specter, chairman of the powerful Judiciary Committee, visited criminal justice and political science students during an “Introduction to Law Enforcement” class on Oct. 12.
After briefly introducing himself, the senator took questions from the students on a range of issues, including the midterm elections, the crisis in Darfur and global warming.
Before his departure, Specter urged the students to study hard and consider a career in public service.
