Students at Fairhill Community High School in North Philadelphia, who have been working with grad students in communications professor Renee Hobbs’ “Theory and Practice of Media Literacy” course, demonstrated their media analysis skills recently in a presentation at the TECH Center.
After watching documentaries and news media coverage of the Sept. 11 World Trade Center tragedy, the students conducted their own research on related topics. Here, Fairhill student Jonathan Delgado presents the results of his project, titled “The 9/11 Pentagon Conspiracy” (on which he collaborated with classmate Oscar Santiago).
