2005-06 Pennsylvania and Metropolitan Philadelphia Survey Fellowship
Temple’s Institute for Public Affairs (IPA) invites applications from Temple faculty for the
2005-06 Pennsylvania and Metropolitan Philadelphia Survey Fellowship. In fall 2005, the Institute for Survey Research will conduct the third annual Pennsylvania and Metropolitan Philadelphia (PMP) Survey. In conjunction with the survey, the 2005-06 PMP Survey Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to Temple faculty to collect data of the highest quality from household residents on a topic of the researcher’s choice related to the survey’s central theme: the quality of life in the state and region.
Resources provided by the Fellowship include:
- the opportunity to contribute items to the questionnaire for the 2005 PMP Survey;
- sole access to data from this supplemental portion of the survey for the duration of the Fellowship;
- a reduction in teaching responsibilities of one course in each of two semesters;
- one summer’s salary;
- and funds to employ a graduate student for research assistance for 12 months.
One Fellowship will be awarded in association with the 2005 PMP Survey, based on a competitive proposal process. Proposals must be submitted by Feb. 25, 2005. For more information, see the complete Request for Applications on the Institute for Public Affairs Web site, http://www.temple.edu/ipa/Home.
