Independent publications funding available for students
Students who edit an independent, undergraduate, on-campus publication (such as a humor, poetry, music or literary magazine) that serves the Temple community as a whole — or those who would like to start such a publication — may be eligible for help from the Temple University Publications Board.
The publications board has limited funds available for independent, on-campus publications. Please note that these funds are not available or intended for graduate or professional students seeking money to publish in academic journals or to fund research.
Come to the Student Center, room 304, to pick up a proposal packet, or request one by e-mailing John Di Carlo, program director for the Office of Student Media, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The proposal packets, which outline the publication's editorial goals, statement of purpose, staff guidelines and business plan, must be turned in by Friday, March 2, to email@example.com or in the Student Center, room 304.
Contact John Di Carlo at 215-204-5888 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
