Liacouras Center events tickets now sold through ComcastTIX

Last week, the Liacouras Center announced that the name of its ticketing company has changed to ComcastTIX, which continues to be powered by New Era Tickets.

Encompassing Liacouras Center events, Temple men’s and women’s basketball games, and Temple dance, theater and opera events, the change brings several benefits.

A streamlined interface makes it easier to find the tickets you’re looking for and purchase them online — including Temple Theaters’ season subscriptions.

However, to get discounted tickets to Theaters plays, seniors, students, and Temple employees and alumni should continue to order tickets at the Liacouras Center box office (cash only). Discount subscriptions can also be ordered directly through the theater department (the PDF brochure is available at www.temple.edu/theater).

Basketball ticket sales will become available online toward the end of October.

Later this fall, users will be able to purchase “loaded tickets”: tickets with a prepaid line of credit to use for concessions, memorabilia, and just about anything else available for sale at the Liacouras Center. As a further benefit, Comcast “Triple-Play” members (those with the digital voice, Internet and cable package) will get advance sales and other special offers directly from Comcast.

For up-to-date information about shows and events at the Liacouras Center, visit www.liacourascenter.com or join the center’s Cyber Club, an e-mail update that sends news, information and special offers based on your interests.

Tickets are available at www.liacourascenter.com, 888-OWLS-TIX and the center’s box office at 1776 N. Broad St. (cash sales only). You can also order from http://ComcastTIX.com and 1-800-298-4200, and at select Acme Markets
