Provost Search Advisory Committee Named
President Ann Weaver Hart has named Ronald T. Brown, dean of the College of Health Professions, as chairman of the 13-member Provost Search Advisory Committee consisting of representatives from the faculty, students, administrators and trustees. The members of the committee are:
Faculty: William E. Aaronson, associate professor, risk, insurance and healthcare management; Rebecca Alpert, associate professor, religion and women’s studies; Shohreh Amini, professor and chair, biology; James Earl Davis, professor, educational leadership and policy studies; and Phoebe Haddon, professor, James E. Beasley School of Law.
Student: Raysean Hogan, president, Temple Student Government.
Deans: Aquiles Iglesias, Graduate School; Concetta M. Stewart, School of Communications and Theater; and Robert T. Stroker, Esther Boyer College of Music and Dance.
Administration: Theresa A. Powell, vice president for student affairs.
Trustees: Leonard Barrack, Chair, Academic Affairs Committee; and Loretta C. Duckworth, a member of the board’s Academic Affairs Committee and president of the University’s alumni association.
The search advisory committee will be staffed by Vicki Lewis McGarvey, special assistant to the president for academic affairs.
