Why do we want you to walk?
Walking can help prevent Type 2 diabetes and lead to cardiovascular fitness.
Did you know?
65% of people with diabetes die from heart disease and stroke. People with diabetes have the same cardiovascular risk as if they had already had a heart attack.
What is our goal?
Please contact Sonia Shaw at 215-204-8463 to join the Temple Walk Team
Our goal is for every participant to raise $175 or more, though donations of any amount are welcome. Donations pay for programs to prevent and cure diabetes, and to improve the lives of all people (young or old) who are affected by the disease.
