Temple building projects are on the rise, and several are on schedule to be completed this academic year.

The Bell Building (top) is undergoing a $16.1 million renovation in order to house a new TECH Center and visitor center, bringing 24-hour computing resources to students by early next year.

On Liacouras Walk (bottom left), a block of former row homes is being revamped to accommodate student health services, administrative offices and several academic support centers, while preserving the buildings’ historically significant exterior.

Work is almost complete on the second phase of the Student Center (bottom right), which adds about 85,000 square feet of space, including a game room, lounges, a cinema, a non-alcoholic student entertainment center and student organization offices to the Student Center, which was completed in fall 2001 at 13th Street and Montgomery Avenue.

Phase II is expected to be complete in October and operational by the end of the year.
