   Tallarida returns to faculty; new VP for faculty affairs sought
   Provost Ira M. Schwartz has announced that Ronald J. Tallarida will step down as vice provost for faculty affairs effective July 31 to return to the faculty and concentrate on his research. While serving as an administrator, Tallarida maintained an active research program with several externally funded grants.  [more]


 
 
Nickelodeon films Partnership students
for feature on after-school program at Temple

Cable network Nickelodeon visited the Pearson Hall pools Tuesday, June 28, to shoot a feature about the SPLASH! Kids' Aquatic Program run by the Arthritis Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania chapter, one of 81 recipients nationwide of a Nickelodeon "Let's Just Play" grant. [more]

Computerworld ranks Temple among "Best Places to Work in IT"

Recognizing Temple University’s appeal to information technology professionals, IDG’s Computerworld named the University to its 12th annual list of the “Best Places to Work in IT,” placing Temple on par with many of the country’s top companies. The list of the top 100 work environments for IT professionals is part of Computerworld’s June 27 issue and is online at www.computerworld.com/2005bestplaces.
