Temple University was included in Computerworld’s yearly list of ‘Best Places to Work in Information Technology’. [link to complete release]

Ellen Tedaldi, professor of medicine and director of the HIV program at the School of Medicine and Temple Hospital, has been named a member of the 2005-06 class of fellows in the Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) Program for Women.  ELAM, part of Drexel University College of Medicine, is the only in-depth national program that focuses on preparing women faculty at U.S. and Canadian medical and dental schools for senior leadership positions at academic health centers.   

Monica J. Washington, manager of labor relations in the human resources department, was recently awarded the NAACP–Newark, Del., Chapter Community Service Award at its annual Freedom Fund Dinner for her work in providing youth life skills and educating them about abstinence.
