Commencement 2005

   Parents, friends and families filled the Liacouras Center last Thursday for Temple’s 118th Commencement ceremony. Some 7,160 graduates donned the traditional black gowns, mortarboards and velvet hoods, a relic of medieval ceremony — and a juxtaposition for the many using cell phones to locate loved ones in the stands and to snap digital photos for posterity.
