In response to Temple’s burgeoning student population, the University, in partnership with the School of Medicine, has opened a new Student Health Center at 1810 Liacouras Walk.
The facility, twice the size of the old location in Mitten Hall, has double the number of exam rooms, a bigger, more comfortable waiting room and extended hours of operation.
Temple University physicians staff the center.
“Now our providers can treat the 200 students we see each day more efficiently and in a quality, patient-friendly setting,” said Joe Rudy, director of Student Health Services.
Services are provided for both routine and urgent care including:
• Allergy shots
• Dermatology
• Medication dispensary
• Gynecology/family planning
• Immunizations
• Laboratory work
• Physical exams
• Travel assessments
• Referrals to specialists
• Self-care center
