Faculty member Philip Grosser
to present a concert of new choreography

The concert on Feb. 25 and 26 will feature Nocturne, which features the music of Frederic Chopin and investigates the illusory nature of desire. Other works will include Four Songs by Henry Purcell, a group work that draws its inspiration from the emotional richness of Purcell’s songs; Two Bright Birds, a high-speed, virtuoso duet set to music by Bach; and Night Music, a dark, passionate solo set to music by Wayne Shorter and Herbie Hancock.

The concert is supported by a Temple Summer Research Fellowship, a Dean’s Grant from the Boyer College of Music and Dance, Temple University, and a 2004 Fellowship from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

The concert will be held at 8 p.m. on Feb. 25 and 26 at the Conwell Dance Theater. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for students and seniors. Temple students with a confirmation card sticker are admitted free. Cash-only, advance ticket sales are available at the Liacouras Center box office, 1776 N. Broad St., Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. For credit card orders, call Ticketmaster at 215-336-2000 or log on to www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available on performance nights at the door.
