Over the course of the spring 2006 semester, Temple Times and the Office of International Programs will follow the adventures of three students studying abroad - one in Japan, one in Vietnam and one in Rome.
Check back for photos and ongoing diary entries about their experiences abroad, and find out what Taylor, Khanh and Ian are doing, seeing and experiencing through their written words and pictures.
Where to begin? I've been in Japan for a month now, but while that doesn't sound like very long, I've seen and done so much that my memories of my first days here seem quite distant.
Taylor from Japan
Hanoi is a beautiful city, and is very different from Saigon. Hanoi is more peaceful, and it has a slower pace than Saigon.
Khanh from Vietnam
My transition from Philadelphia to Rome has been about as striking as Dorothy's transition from black-and-white to color in The Wizard of Oz.
Ian from Rome
