Robert Giacolone, Fox School human resources management professor, wrote an article, “A Transcendent Business Education for the 21st Century,” published in the Academy of Management Learning & Education, 2004, Vo. 3, No. 4, 415-420, which was the focus of a feature about teaching ethics in business school in the Financial Times on Jan. 5.
Presentations
William Stull, economics department and economics professor and chairman at The Fox School, hosted the Athenian Policy Forum at Temple University Center City on Jan. 6. The two-day conference was a part of the Allied Social Science Association Conference to “Re-examine the Case for Free Trade.”
Economics Professor Ingrid Rima organized the conference and presented a paper, “The Neo-mercantilism of Keynes and Robinson.”
Associate economics professor Charles Swanson also presented a paper, “The Necessity of Trade Barriers when the Equilibrium Conditions Do Not Apply.”
